IHS and MTN donate white canes to Rwanda Union of the Blind

On Tuesday at Rwanda Union of the Blind (RUB) office, IHS alongside MTN handed over 20 white canes pledged during last year’s Dinner in the Dark for International White Cane Day celebration.

We express our heartfelt thanks to IHS for their ongoing support and dedication to improving the lives of visually impaired individuals in Rwanda. We also thank MTN for their joint advocacy efforts in advocating for the rights and well-being of the visually impaired community.

The white canes will help visually impaired persons navigate their surroundings with greater ease and independence. RUB is grateful for the generosity of IHS and MTN and looks forward to continuing this partnership in creating a more inclusive society for all.
